Fire those thieves

The article “12,000 EC State Workers Skim R16m in Sassa Grants” (DD Sep 22) refers.

I presume that the 177,000 state workers will be fired for theft so that they can then draw their Sassa grants lawfully?

Furthermore, I believe that any municipal or state employee guilty of theft should be banned from employment by these institutions for life.

That should solve the problem!
