There are just seven days left until the Berlin November red carpet is rolled out and top horse racing, fashion, music, food and overall entertainment brings the small town now known as Ntabozuko to life.

Organisers say tickets are almost sold out and are reminding would-be attendees to quickly grab theirs before rushing to their tailors to avoid the disappointment of being turned away from one of the province’s social calendar events of the year.

The ninth annual event is set to take place between November 25 and 27, after the organisers added an extra day for 2022.

The event will have six marquees and host its Summer Stage music festival.

Organiser and spokesperson Buntu Bara said tickets for the most popular marquees offering the best entertainment, music, drinks and cuisines, were running out.

He encouraged fashion lovers, socialites and revellers to grab their tickets before they ran out.

Bara said the 2022 Summer Stage musical festival would be spiced-up.

Musician Senior Oat, responsible for one of 2022’s biggest songs, “All in You”, will be on stage alongside other top artists such as Samthing Soweto.

“The event organisers have decided to spice things up on the Summer Stage, which will be the best in the past eight years of its existence,” Bara said.

“The Summer Stage is set to be one of the much-anticipated attractions with affordable tickets.

“The event will feature a number of carefully planned activities and services including the Wild Riders fun fair for the children.”

Bara said a host of celebrities were set to attend.

“Spotted on the list of celebrities attending the event is Oros Mampofu, Andile Nebulane, Dumisani Mbebe, Mbali Maphumulo, Sello Maake Kancube, Vusi Thanda, Amaza Ntshanga, Noxolo Nomana, Lebo Gunguluza, Luyanda Potwana and many more.”

With more than “30,000 fashion, music, vibe and food lovers from across the country” expected to attend, Bara said horse racing fans needed to get their tickets fast.

He said there would also be tickets giveaways.

“There will be ticket giveaways at Ebuhlanti on the 19th, on the 20th we will be at Qonce, at Jabavu, giving free tickets away.

“We will wrap up our ticket giveaways at the Man’s Pub and Braai chill out spot.

“We want to usher in summer with a bang,” he said.
