BROKE, BUT HAPPY
Billionaire Chuck Feeney has achieved his goal of giving away his entire $8-billion fortune while he is still alive. The
Atlantic Philanthropies, the foundation that he set up in 1982, finally ran out of money this week. Feeney made his money in the duty-free shopping business. He does not own a car. The cumulative shedding for the year is up 23% from last year so far and the total gigawatt hours shed, 1600, has surpassed the August 2019 record.

So why does Microsoft find it necessary to put people back in traffic, even if it is virtual traffic? The company cites research that shows that “the reflection typically done during that time can increase productivity by 12-15%”.
MUSK AT THE DRIVE IN
How do you do social distancing at a major business meeting when you are a car manufacturer? Follow Elon Musk’s example. About 240 shareholders were seated in Tesla Model 3 vehicles in the company’s parking lot to hear company executives present their new battery and manufacturing strategies at the company’s Battery Day event on Tuesday. Musk walked on stage as the shareholders hooted in approval.
