New Zealand Political Editor Tova O’Brien should be given an Oscar award for the way she stopped a politician from spreading Covid-19 conspiracy theories during a live broadcast of her TV programme. “No, no, no. I do not want to hear any of that rubbish,” she told Jami-Lee Ross before becoming an overnight Twitter and journalistic heroine. If more journos followed O’Brien’s example and stopped the big orange fascist up north from telling lies, we’d never hear from him again.
