WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner will lead a new office within the White House designed to remake government operations using ideas from the private sector.

The Office of American Innovation “will apply the president’s ahead-of-schedule and under-budget mentality to a wide number of government operations and services”, spokesman Sean Spicer said yesterday.
