Why no outrage over Iraq?
FOUR innocent people are killed in London and the whole world goes mad, while the US may have killed as many as 200 civilians in an air strike in Iraq in the same period and there’s barely a ripple.
This is in addition to an attack on a mosque in Syria earlier this month and a Navy Seals raid in Yemen last month in which scores of innocents were also killed.
It is interesting to note that news reports on the air strike describe accounts of lost relatives by survivors as “claims”, but we are expected to take everything said by the coali- tion forces as gospel?
That’s a bit rich, especially considering their appalling record in the region.
And if there is nothing to hide, why has media access to the affected area been restricted?
There should be equal outrage expressed for the loss of innocent lives wherever it may occur.
This is hypocrisy at its most extreme. A HUGHES Durban
