No one does real fur these days honey, because animal cruelty just is not chic. But investing in a gorgeous fauxfur number that has caught your eye, is, absolutely, an alternative. Fur coats are fully lined, which makes them great for keeping out the cold. Don’t be shy to play with fur colour and texture.

4 THE PARKA

Usually in shades of olive green or cargo print, this is the perfect coat for weekends out. Parkas are thick, and heavy, and most have a hoodie. Look out for one with a fur-lined hoodie for a touch of chic.

5 THE LEATHER BIKER

A leather jacket adds rock chickchic to any outfit. You could be wearing a white Tee, combined with classic blue denim jeans and a pair of Converse, but the minute you slip into that leather jacket, your look acquires street cred and edginess, which transforms your attitude.
