BARCELONA beat Inter Milan 2-0 and Borussia Dortmund thrashed Atletico Madrid 4-0 to maintain their perfect records in the Champions League last night.

Elsewhere, Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah scored twice in a 4-0 victory over Red Star Belgrade and Paris Saint-Germain grabbed a late equaliser in a 2-2 draw with Napoli.

Barcelona, who were without injured Lionel Messi, defeated Inter thanks to goals from Rafinha and Jordi Alba in Group B, while Borussia Dortmund enjoyed a four-goal romp over Atletico in Group A.

Porto won 3-1 at Lokomotiv Moscow to top Group D, where Galatasara­y and Schalke finished goalless.

Barcelona move to nine points at the top of Group B thanks to their win, Rafinha scoring from close range from a Luis Suarez pass in the 32nd minute and Alba making it two seven minutes from time.

Inter remain on six points, but are still five ahead of PSV and Tottenham Hotspur, who drew 2-2 in an early kick-off.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino said it would now be difficult for his side to qualify.

“If we need to blame someone it’s ourselves,” he said.

Spurs had goalkeeper Hugo Lloris sent off 11 minutes from time for bringing down Hirving Lorenzo outside the penalty area.

Harry Kane had put the Premier League side 2-1 up but were punished when Luuk de Jong levelled with three minutes remaining.

Tottenham went behind when Lozano’s shot on the half hour deflected off Toby Alderweire­ld and looped over Lloris into the net, but Lucas Moura fired in a deflected equaliser in the 39th.

Dortmund made it three straight wins in Group A, with Axel Witsel’s shot deflected into the net in the 38th minute giving them the edge over Atletico before three goals in the last 17 minutes.

Raphael Guerreiro in the 73rd, fellow substitute Jadon Sancho in the 83rd and Guerreiro again in the 89th made it a memorable night for the Bundesliga side. Monaco and Club Brugge finished 1-1 for their first points in the group.

In the big match in Paris in Group C, Lorenzo Insigne lobbed keeper Alphonse Areola to put Napoli ahead at PSG in the 29th minute before the French champions levelled in the 61st when Mario Rui deflected Thomas Meunier’s cross into his own net. Dries Mertens hit a second for Napoli in the 77th, but Angel Di Maria struck deep into stoppage time to earn a draw.

At Anfield, Roberto Firmino put Liverpool ahead in the 20th minute against Red Star, and Salah doubled the tally just before the break before scoring from the spot in the 51st.

Sadio Mane had a penalty deflected on to the bar before notching a fourth as Liverpool move to six points to top the group, one above Napoli and two ahead of PSG.

In Group D, Porto keeper

Iker Casillas saved a penalty by Lokomotiv Moscow’s Manuel Fernandes before the Portuguese side scored from the spot through Moussa Maregy in the 26th minute.

Hector Herrera headed a second in the 35th, Anton Miranchuk pulled one back three minutes later but Jesus Corona belted in a third for Porto two minutes after the break. The home side finished with 10 men after a red card for Solomon Kverkvelia for a last-man foul in the 76th minute. | News Agency (ANA)
