EFF, SkyCar, and combo packs come under fire

POLITICS

Corruption or fraud in the public service is extremely difficult to prove in a court of law. There are repeated allegations of neutral companies being awarded tenders and then traces of small transfers to slush companies of one or other politician. Where is the wrongdoing beyond reasonable doubt when the tendering process was followed judiciously?

If people profess to be the voice of the poor (the EFF), then surely you (EFF) should be living among the people in the very same lifestyle to show solidarity? When Mahatma Gandhi protested against the British, he gave up western clothing. Using a red overall covering designer clothing does not make you a champion of the poor. All smoke and mirrors. Please people of South Africa, don’t fall for their tricks.

ODDS AND ENDS

The SkyCar is another joke from the municipality of Durban.

Who knows what to do about it or will they once again “pass the buck” to another person who is at fault because he/she didn’t know it was their problem in the first place?

Merry Christmas everybody, perhaps we can all go for a trip next Christmas. Joking.

Please inform Durbanites what schedule for load shedding is now in place. The eThekwini site is silent except for some 2015 notices!

Someone must be able to give accurate information to us.

The Department of Education needs to investigate all the schools that have nutrition schemes. School principals and SGBs have signed off for the month of November, even though no pupils were present at schools after the examinations.

SGBs and principals have received cash kickbacks from suppliers for year-end parties. Call for the registers and see for yourself.

Hyperstores’ and supermarkets’ so-called “combo pricing” of groceries and essential food items are not supportive of the pensioners, the poor and the needy who cannot afford and don’t need multiple items just to make ends meet. Lower prices mean more sales, and everyone benefits instead of discarding expired and stale provisions

To the Blitzbokke: bring back Seabelo Senatla, Ruhan Nel, Kwagga Smith, Dylan Sage and Tim Agaba.

To tell you the truth, they won’t make the Springbok side for the World Cup. We need them in the Blitzbok side. You will win the world cup in this competition and not in the 15-man challenge. The whole of South Africa thinks this is going to happen. Sorry, it’s not going to happen in the near future, so decide what you want to do with players who were part of the Blitzbokke.

You will enjoy it much better in the sevens rugby, and you will be much more needed than with the 15-man squad.

It’s no wonder we have such violent crime in this country. All the local soapies have the most horrific scenes. Isidingo has nothing but torture and killing, Muvhango and Skeem Saam have witchcraft and betrayal, even 7de Laan had religious manipulation with explosives. Brainwashing at its best.

Nasa’s latest probe of an asteroid to learn how life evolved is fruitless to all religions who believe God created life. Nasa should rather explore why life evolved from an uncivilised time and back to an uncivilised time. When people trashed Vodacom shops in a modern shopping mall, it took civilisation back to an uncivilised world.

No matter how it is explained, we are unable to coexist with people who have no respect for law and order and the manner a civilised world operates.

Can the city council or the city police please curb the playing of loud music in town by those persons who sell these CDs from their vehicles?

They must bring back competitions for the cleanest city and fine those who litter to picking up litter for two weeks.

Please help! There’s a person in our road who has a swimming pool and now there are frogs in it and they make a great noise every night.

It’s difficult to sleep. How can we get him to clean this up?

Who can we complain to?
