Factories fight mogul

- | Daily Mail

LONDON: Bangladeshi factories that supply billionaire Philip Day with clothes threaten to halt deliveries until he stumps up £27 million (R580m) he allegedly owes.

Around 30 suppliers to the Edinburgh Woollen Mill (EWN) group, which includes Peacocks and Jaeger, have accused the tycoon of taking “undue advantage of the Covid-19 situation”. A spokesperson said: “We have engaged with all our individual suppliers with openness, and the best of intentions, even when the circumstances are difficult.”
