Death penalty would stop killing of innocent people

ODDS AND ENDS

I thought our government would be relieved that parents are easing the burden because it is dismally failing. It failed to maintain schools, it can’t build new schools and, after 28 years, some schools are still using pit toilets. I am not going to talk about the safety of our kids in those schools. Our kids are exposed to drugs, school disruptions and many other things. | ANGELA MABUSE

The US will never go to war with Russia, never ever ever. It is good at sizing up other countries through the media it owns, but on the ground, fists curled and sleeves rolled, it knows who to mess with and who to give way to. Russia is one of those it gives way to. If the US advertised to be what it is, it would have started with North Korea, as a show of force to Russia. The fact that China is reducing its market presence in the US has it ringing all alarm bells but not knowing which to respond to. The move by Russia to render its expedition of securing the Taiwan chip industry is fruitless, after Russia cut off supplies of raw material to Taiwan for chip production, and has it pacing up and down in disbelief. And what does it run to? The trusted and overused war-talk. Russia launched a satellite right below it, at the moment it was passing over Russia, which it fears is a satellite that seeks to undermine its own spy satellite. As a show of capabilities, Russia shot down one of its own satellites that orbits in the range of US satellites. It’s only natural that the US would run to the media to vilify Russia and start the narrative of dire possibilities when it has been poking at the bear unprovoked for such a long time. | NEO MOGOMANA

I wish people knew that crime doesn’t pay. Whatever crime you commit today, tomorrow you pay for it big time. I have nothing but I never plan on committing crime because it’s a waste of time. | MORONZO KGANO

The EFF is becoming desperate every day, and being irrelevant in modern politics makes it play on the most vulnerable. I wonder what it is really scared of. Is the VBS saga about to take its toll? The EFF sounds desperate that the wheels of the law are slowly turning and will catch up with it. | MUSA APPOINTED

The ANC has always been a clandestine organisation and it is carrying on with its activities, stealing from South Africa to feed its own gluttonous greed. | RAOUL

The West has mastered the art of devaluating things before they take them. Case in point is the phasing out of coal use. They are trying to devalue coal before they can buy it from us at a cheaper price. It’s an old tactic, and evidently it’s working for them. | HAMZA ADNAN

Brian Molefe stopped load shedding and he is in the Zondo report. Glencore is found to be corrupt globally but doesn’t appear in the Zondo report. South Africans will regret removing Zuma. He was trying to make things work but the white-owned media made him a villain. On the other hand, Cyril (the mattress king), Mr Phala Phala himself, is destroying the country and the white-owned media are protecting him. Why? Because his globalist friends along with some RSA elites say so. | ZWE SITHOLE

Bring back the death penalty to stop the killing of innocent people in SA. | ANON
