Today we are more divided than ever. The economy is in a downward spiral, people are hungry and angry, the government is corrupt, Cyril is standing backhand at the west. But hey, let us call each other names and colours and racist and whatever.

@zakareeee

I would like to know who it’s with right now but I can guarantee whoever has it has more right to a peace prize than that unrepentant apartheid president had.

Whatever the ungrateful people say, they can never take away his achievement. We owe our present peaceful democracy in part to his efforts.

Waiting for @MYANC to launch a 72 hours search activation plan. Zizi Kodwa and Thandi Modise are probably at “the late” house now.

That is so disrespectful to the actual Nobel Peace Prize. Put aside the fact that FW was an apartheid regime leader, the actual Nobel Peace Prize is something so prestigious and people should just respect that. Almost like stealing a trophy or a medal which an athlete earned.

@Patricsolomons

Wonder what else was in the safe... and taken... evidence of apartheid secrets and crimes he was involved with?

@Kanonotsele

The story: A Nobel Peace Prize consisting of a gold medallion awarded to former president FW de Klerk was stolen from a safe inside his home. What else: Significant pieces of jewellery belonging to De Klerk’s widow, Elita, were also taken. 5

Sounds like an inside job to me. Imagine some petty thief sitting there saying ‘Let us go to De Klerk’s crib to his safe and steal the Nobel peace prize.’

@kimheller3

Good! The Nobel Peace prize of the Unnoble former apartheid leader FW De Klerk whose racist regime killed and destroyed black lives was stolen in a robbery.

@ORI_RSA

That is karma sometimes for you. He had been stealing for long years, good riddance.
