If only Cristiano would show off his skills in SA

- PETER BACHTIS | Benoni

MANCHESTER United have parted ways with Cristiano Ronaldo after he exposed the bullyboy tactics applied by certain individuals within Manchester’s management structure.

In his mid-thirties, he continues to be one of the great players the sport has produced and almost certainly he has a big ego.

Some managers have been given a “God-like” status and placed on pedestals, reserved for kings and queens, their egos constantly clashing with players, who have equally large egos.

You do not “bench” the likes of Cristiano – it’s just not done – and the fallout for the club has severe consequences.

The Glazers want out, the majority of the players are unhappy, and Cristiano

is looking for a new home.

Would it not be wonderful if he took a season off, and came to South Africa to participate in exhibition matches, while spending time with talented youngsters, teaching them that a great work ethic on the field can lead to miracles?

Imagine!
