Magor ‘rant’ shows racism deeply rooted in many
Racism is deeply rooted in many people. It shows itself out when people cannot keep it in any longer – like this Belinda Magor case. I do not understand what would a person hate to the extent of wanting a woman’s uterus like her own, cut out – cursing other human beings like herself. We have the same blood, same organs and breathe the same air. She forgot what happened to Vicky Momberg. | JULIE NAKIN
PIT BULLS
It is not the breed, it is the owners. Every dog has the capability to attack and bite someone ~ even the smallest ones. The difference is one snap from a power breed can kill you. All dog owners should apply for a licence to keep a pet, just like in the old days. This will help control breeding and the upbringing of dogs. | VANESSA EVANS
The problem lies with irresponsible owners and backyard breeders. Inbreeding and cruel owners who breed pit bulls for dog fighting are the problem. Bring back pet licences and breeders must be registered. Pit bulls are misunderstood, vilified because humans have exploited them for money and “status”. | LAURA PINO

Obviously the criteria for parole should be applied to each individual applicant. Parole should be granted once criteria are met. If this is the case, why are former president Zuma and numerous other connected scotfree? Especially those granted parole on compassionate grounds, with apparently a few days to live. Many years or even decades later, they are still eating KFC without a drip in sight. The reaction to the granting of bail to Janusz Walus has exposed the racism and hatred. Metros (police) are corrupt. Officers are giving out fines for expired discs yet their own disc has not been valid for two years. Recently in Durban, trainee cops went to the North Coast by bus to obtain their licences via the back door, and then we have the “cooldrink cops” . POLITICS
Women understand that it is critical to promote women in leadership, however, they also understand that they cannot promote women in leadership at the expense of the ANC. Perhaps the problem is with the women candidates. Perhaps we need new women candidates besides Comrade Nkosazana Zuma and Comrade Lindiwe Sisulu. These two female candidates might be overshadowing other female candidates because of the big surnames that they carry.
