President Cyril Ramaphosa broke the law, the Phala Phala Farmgate report revealed. This is how Twitter reacted:

@Deepsta45

South Africa does not want to remove the president. A certain faction of the ruling party wants him gone by working with opposition parties to remove him, simply because the looting taps were closed by the president and corrupt individuals were arrested.

@kanyoko_msunu

I once said Cyril Ramaphosa must be worry when David Mabuza the cat is very quiet. Looks like he may have been working quietly in the background...

@funnymojo

And on top of it his party has been stealing from our country for almost 30 years. Our country has not had electricity for a third of this year (4 months with no power, 2881 hours) and our electricity has increased by 400% in less than 10 years.

@Munje101

I am curious guys, now that Cyril must #Resign who do you think will take over as president? In my view if he goes this is the end of the ANC. Or it will be a very hard election coming up.

@Theledimokgahla

He definitely broke the law. I used to think that rich people have morals in politics and would not be corrupt nor greedy until I met this president. I am so ashamed to even call him my president as he is a sellout of note. He was fingered in the killing of 34 miners.

@Better_sa2030

If President Cyril Ramaphosa is impeached or decides to #Resign who will take over? David Mabuza, Zweli Mkhize, Paul Mashatile and Lindiwe Sisulu? God help us all! The ANC has officially run out of any possible “decent” leadership.

@Nefpheno

ANC is going to defend their own and then after 4 years close to another conference .... they start apologizing to the public saying “ANC should have acted differently to the report, we apologize” – same rollercoaster as Nkandla.

@Advobarryroux

Acting Public Protector Kholeka Gcaleka said it might take 3 years and more to complete the Phala phala Farm investigation, then Judge Ngcobo does it for her in 4 weeks. Kholeka must be ashamed of herself for being used like this.

@Hermanmashaba

No person is above the law! Cyril Ramaphosa must show respect to South Africans and resign, or face impeachement. We cannot afford more wasted years with another president facing criminal charges. Our country needs ethical leadership. @Judas7kisses

He must just go. We want nothing more and nothing less. He must resign, Lord! #Resign
