ANC fears implications if looting probe is launched

-

Re: CJ Zondo slammed for “running his mouth” about state capture again, Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has received a backlash from social media, Parliament, as well as former Eskom CEO Brian Molefe, for his series of comments about the Guptas and Jacob Zuma’s era of state capture. Whether CJ Zondo was correct or not in his so-called “attack” on Parliament, the reality is that he is correct in his utterances. The ANC is scared to open investigations into the looting saga because numerous ministers will be found guilty. I ANON

Biggest heist ahead of any other state capture is the wholesale amount of time and millions of rand spent on the fruitless, multi-gender castrated, irreversibly sterilised

Zondo Commission! I ANON

Robert Mcbride, you will perhaps be our saviour in arresting all the Eskom crooks. They have connections in every corner except in yours. Take them out without any mercy. It is commendable that in the midst of our questionable stand about the conflict, our country has taken a stand by its pronouncement of taking a mediation stance. I ANON

It is childish to critique this stance and predict failure or ineffectiveness. What is important is to take a stand. To win or to lose won’t have any effect on our stand. Well done South Africa, well done Africa. I JOSEPH GANA

Article on the R18 000 banner

Firstly, that banner is not worth R18 000 and the correct spec of material was not used, hence the theft. Tenderpreneurs get these jobs and use cheap PVC material instead of specified polyester fabric that does not get stolen. I ANON

Lindiwe Sisulu must accept that she failed to be elected president of ANC in December and she further failed to reach the threshold for the treasurer-general post. She must know that she is not as popular within the ANC as she thought. She was also found wanting with regard to her role while she was still the Minister of Water and Sanitation. The ANC doesn’t owe her anything. I KHONANI

Submarine

I see my fellow black people who are naive about the Titanic’s history getting emotional about this news! Fellow oppressed black people, did you know? Black people were not allowed on the Titanic in 1912. There are three black mine workers still trapped underground at Lilly Mine in Mpumalanga! Why worry about people who knew the consequences of their actions? I MOTUBATSE SEGOMOTSO MMOLA

We are no experts but we also think it was a horrible idea. Surprisingly those who hopped on it thought it was a nice idea. Obviously they did not think further as to what could happen if a failure occurred. I NOZIBELE MHLAMBI

If this had been a success the founder would be making millions now, there’d be people wanting to go down there too. Unfortunately, it didn't go too well. I EDMON KGOTHATSO MASHILO

It is alleged that his great grandfathers are among the dead of 1912 – I suspect some rituals. I SHIKISHA ERICH MATHYE

Why do people find the loss of lives funny? If they think a lost sub is funny then maybe we should laugh when they electrocute themselves from stealing electricity and fall off trains. I MARK DAVIDSON
