Proxy war on Israel unnecessary

-

COME what may, Israel will be ready for Iran when they attack. And the US will be right behind them!

Seeing a video of young Palestine boys and girls being subjected to and brainwashed into becoming killing forces one day when they grow up was a real eye-opener. Crawling underneath nets with rocket-propelled grenades strapped to their little bodies, a Palestine mother weeping with her little son by the father's graveste, with a plastic gun in his tiny arms I mean, the poor boy does not even know how to successfully tie his own shoe laces, for heaven’s sake!

As much as the deaths of Palestinians are extremely sad and unnecessary, one has to feel some sympathy towards the IDF, who are getting ready to strike Rafah in a way which would require laserfocused execution, while the leftover Hamas fighters and some 1.3 million Palestinians who are nothing but human shields will stand in their way.

The world community which is so sceptical about Israel must take stock of what is actually going on out there. Firstly, Israel never wanted this war. Some people might say that this is a lie, but who on Earth would want their own people to suffer the atrocious attacks and brutality of Hamas.

It is time for South Africans, and the world, to realise what we are dealing with here. Freedom-loving Jews were attacked without any warning, and are now being blasted for trying to defend themseves. Iran (and its filthy proxies,, including our very own ANC government) acts so self-righteously and creates the impression that it has to fight back, but whether it's the Houthis from Yemen, the Iraqi fighters, Hamas or Hezbollah, Iran must back off from its cowardly ways, just like Hamas who use their very own people to hide behind them and then cry wolf when Palestinians are killed during collateral war and attacks.

As a Christian, I stand unashamedly behind Israel, and though my God has given me the gift of salvation even though I am gentile living in Africa, a non- Jew, I will keep praying for Israel. Even if we put our religious beliefs and faiths aside, when has it ever been acceptable for any human being or group of people to do to other human beings what Hamas did on October 7? These acts were so evil that I doubt I could have even dreamt up such heinous things. This is a war between good and evil, not Israel v Palestine.

Every time I see a vehicle driving through my area with a “Free Palestine” sticker, I wonder where my Christian brothers and sisters are hiding. We deserve to be angry. We deserve to be heard. We deserve much more respect, and we are not getting it from our racist, selfobsessed government! Need I say more?
