Schoolboys probed over anti-Semitic voice note
A GROUP of boys from Treverton College, in Mooi River, are being disciplined after sending an anti-Semitic voice note to a pupil at a Johannesburg Jewish school.
It was not immediately clear what the relationship between the boys and Danni Heymann, 18, was, if any.
The 14-year-old who had allegedly made the recording, and his father, apologised to Danni.
Treverton headmaster Kean Broom said the school had gathered its management team “and started the process of investigating the event and communication with the pupils involved and their parents – as well as the outraged public”.
