Too many guards at beach boom gate…

I WAS shocked to note that up to five guards in uniform were manning the boom gates at the Durban Beach area during the festive season.

Why so many? They were provided chairs and seated under a canopy, relaxing and were busy on their cellphones.

I believe that just one or two guards were sufficient at the boom gate.
