If the government clinics have run out of the polio vaccine, you can ask your doctor to administer it. The government has become very slack in providing our vaccines. However, because the government is failing us does not mean we must fail our children. Some parents drink, smoke and go to the movies regularly, so they can afford to pay for a polio vaccine. Recent generations of parents have not seen the devastation of polio. Please don’t allow your children to be in pain and disabled because the polio vaccine wasn’t a priority in your life.
