How do you cel­e­brate a ma­jor achieve­ment? I usu­ally get to­gether with friends and fam­ily for din­ner and a night out.

What do you en­joy most about your job? Mak­ing peo­ple smile be­cause of their food. I love hav­ing peo­ple tell me that some­thing I pre­pared was the best dish they’ve ever eaten.

Where do you see your­self in five years’ time? I’d like to be­come a hos­pi­tal­ity lec­turer so that I can im­part the knowl­edge I have to oth­ers.

What’s the most chal­leng­ing as­pect of your job? Pleas­ing all the dif­fer­ent guests who stay at the Bev­erly Hills, with their di­verse tastes.

What’s your dream hol­i­day des­ti­na­tion? Thai­land.

What are your main cri­te­ria when se­lect­ing a hol­i­day des­ti­na­tion? The dif­fer­ent types of cui­sine avail­able, be­cause food is ev­ery­thing to me.

What’s your money-sav­ing tip for De­cem­ber? Be­fore buy­ing any­thing, draw up a bud­get. Cut back on ex­tras and take ad­van­tage of sales.
