FOOD & BEVERAGES SUPERVISOR
What does your job entail? I’m responsible for the daily operations of serving food and beverages to guests, ensuring we provide an excellent dining experience. I also manage the staff.
How do you celebrate a major achievement? I usually go out with close friends and family to have lunch. Alternatively, I have a massage day at a spa or go ice-skating with friends.
What do you enjoy most about your job? Meeting people from different countries with different cultures. It’s more of a learning experience for me. If a guest leaves happy, then I know my work’s done.
Why did you decide on this career path? I’ve always wanted to work in an industry that allows me to interact with people. It’s what I do best.
Where do you see yourself in five years’ time? Working as a Food & Beverages Manager.
What are the most challenging aspects of your job? Dealing with difficult guests and only getting one day off a week.
What are your main criteria when selecting a holiday destination? Whether there’s sufficient network reception, malls in the area, an ocean and exciting tourist attractions, where I can have fun.
What are your summer wardrobe staples? Floral dresses.
