What does your job en­tail? I’m re­spon­si­ble for the daily op­er­a­tions of serv­ing food and bev­er­ages to guests, en­sur­ing we pro­vide an ex­cel­lent din­ing ex­pe­ri­ence. I also man­age the staff.

How do you cel­e­brate a ma­jor achieve­ment? I usu­ally go out with close friends and fam­ily to have lunch. Al­ter­na­tively, I have a mas­sage day at a spa or go ice-skat­ing with friends.

What do you en­joy most about your job? Meet­ing peo­ple from dif­fer­ent coun­tries with dif­fer­ent cul­tures. It’s more of a learn­ing ex­pe­ri­ence for me. If a guest leaves happy, then I know my work’s done.

Why did you de­cide on this ca­reer path? I’ve al­ways wanted to work in an in­dus­try that al­lows me to in­ter­act with peo­ple. It’s what I do best.

Where do you see your­self in five years’ time? Work­ing as a Food & Bev­er­ages Man­ager.

What are the most chal­leng­ing as­pects of your job? Deal­ing with dif­fi­cult guests and only get­ting one day off a week.

What are your main cri­te­ria when se­lect­ing a hol­i­day des­ti­na­tion? Whether there’s suf­fi­cient net­work re­cep­tion, malls in the area, an ocean and ex­cit­ing tourist at­trac­tions, where I can have fun.

What are your sum­mer wardrobe sta­ples? Flo­ral dresses.
