What does your job entail? I’m responsible for every aspect of the hiring process for all employees, including interviewing and training. I also oversee all the restaurant operations, including food preparation and quality assurance, service and customer satisfaction.

Why did you decide on this career path? If you enjoy hosting parties or bringing people together for a good time, then you’ll enjoy being a restaurant manager. Working with different people and giving my best every day to put a smile on customers’ faces is priceless.

Where do you see yourself in five years’ time? I intend to have a wonderful career at Tsogo Sun with my team. When the time comes, I hope to assume a leadership role as a Food & Beverages Manager, to ease some of the present one’s intense workload.

What’s your dream holiday destination? Paris or London.

What’s your go-to outfit when travelling? For summer in Paris, I’d wear cocktail dresses, pants and casual items.

What’s your summer wardrobe staple? Light-coloured dresses, skirts, bikinis, hats, sunglasses, jeans and scarves, with matching fleece bags.

What would you be doing if you weren’t in this industry? Finishing my degree in technology. At present, I only hold a certificate in it.
