Diamond Fields Advertiser - - OPINION -

PROSPECTIVE members of the free library have been offended by personal questions asked when they apply to join. Officials want to know such things as age, race, religion, educational standard and type of domicile. Apparently the information will help librarians choose books for the library and to compile statistics for South Africans’ reading habits.
