THE DONATION of a refrigerator truck to the Warrenton Super Chicken project, has raised eyebrows since the ailing chicken coop has had to be bailed out of the doldrums on numerous occasions. The MEC for the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, Norman Shushu, handed over the keys to the vehicle yesterday. The truck is valued at R210 000 and will be used for the transportation of chickens from Doornfontein farm to consumers.
