Eight-year-old Kimberley learner Nthabeleng Nonkasa is a rising star with a passion and drive for modelling and plenty of belief in herself.

The young model currently has her sights set on a new challenge the Miss Mini Teen Universe South Africa 2024 pageant.

She will be competing in the finals of the event in Durban on Sunday

The little dynamo is proud to be representing her beloved Province at the event and has vowed to take on the competition with grace and determination.

Nthabeleng's journey into the world of fashion and beauty pageants began at the tender age of five, when she took her first steps on the runway with Vogue Kimberley.

Since then, she has been unstoppable, with modelling being both a source of confidence and joy in her life.

She is also more than just a pretty face, but rather a multi-talented individual who excels in various activities.

When she's not strutting down the catwalk, she can be found making waves in the pool, shooting hoops on the netball court, or dazzling everyone with her dance moves.

Nthabeleng says that her journey to Miss Mini Teen Universe South Africa is not just about personal achievement, but also about making a difference.

She is passionate about helping other children and standing up against bullying, showing a maturity and compassion beyond her years.

Looking to the future, Nthabeleng’s dream is to serve her community as a nurse or a police officer, embodying the values of compassion and protection.

As Nthabeleng prepares to shine on the stage on February 18, she has called on Kimberley and Northern Cape residents to stand proudly behind her and to back her on every step of her journey.

She says she is determined to make her Province proud with her talent, drive and heart.

“There is no doubt that I am destined for greatness,” she says.
