BMW Motorrad Kimberley is set to unveil the much-anticipated BMW R 1300 GS motorcycle tomorrow at their showroom located in Long Street, starting at 9 am.
With a lineage tracing back 43 years to the iconic R 80 G/S, which revolutionised adventure biking with its Gelände/straße (“off-road/road”) concept, the R1300 GS marks a groundbreaking leap forward in design and performance.
This latest iteration, the R 1300 GS, represents a complete overhaul, with only select components like the butterfly valves and a few bolts and connectors carrying over from its predecessor, the R 1250 GS.
The development journey for the R 1300 GS commenced six years ago, a testament to BMW'S commitment to pushing the boundaries of adventure biking.
Imtiaz Ameer, the dealer principal for BMW Kimberley, has extended a warm invitation to both current and prospective BMW enthusiasts to witness the unveiling of this remarkable motorcycle first-hand.
