Watch to run e-waste, scrap drive

HELDERBERG – The

Somerset West Neighbourhood Watch will host an e-waste and scrap-metal drive in the parking area opposite the police station in Main Road from 08:30 to 14:00 on

Saturday 15 August.

Any items with a plug and all scrap metal can be safely disposed of. To facilitate safe social distancing the organisers request anyone dropping off items place these in the boot of their cars, with smaller items in a carrier bag or box. Only these items must be in the boot. If they need to exit their vehicle at any time during the drop-off, they must wear a mask and adhere to social distancing protocols.

tomorrow (Friday 14 August). The meeting will be held via the Zoom application, and the link and password will be shared only with those who haave RSVP’d to attend.
