7 NEWS Distrikspos 13 August 2020 NUUS CAPE TOWN CANNOT BE COVID-COMPLACENT The City of Cape Town renews its call to residents to continue being vigilant in terms of the COVID-19 pandemic. There has been a slowdown in the number of cases and fatalities reported in recent weeks but this does not mean that the pandemic is over. Experience has shown that several countries have experienced second waves of infections. So we cannot let our guard down – the golden rules STILL apply: 1. Wash hands regularly and thoroughly with soap and water, or use sanitiser with an alcohol content of at least 70% 2. Don’t touch your face 3. Wear a mask in public at all times 4.
