ADAPTING WITH THE LANDSCAPE CHANGE

-

Welcome to our February edition of

Driven. Hard to believe that this is our second edition of 2020 as we’ve had to hit the ground running to deliver a worldclass magazine. Looking at our motoring crystal ball, this will, once again, be a year of unprecedented new car launches. Our diaries are already filling up and members of the team are jetting off to Europe as you read this to bring you their first-hand account of the updated Jaguar F-Type and Porsche GTS models, including the recently announced 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman GTS variants – replete with a new 4.0-litre flat-six engine! A very exciting prospect indeed. You can read all about these sportscars in our March edition.

We also have some interesting new prospects bubbling under for both our valuable Driven readers and supporters alike and we can’t wait to share this with you in our next edition. The publishing landscape continues to shift and morph and we, as a team, are adapting accordingly to satiate the way you consume and prefer your motoring news.

Classic and pre-owned sportscars remain valuable among car enthusiasts and collectors and we look forward to bringing you more content on these and how to go about locating, identifying and verifying the authenticity and history thereof. We are also cognisant of the budget constraints on household incomes and, for some, a brand-new car is simply out of the question, but a preowned premium vehicle with a service history could be right up your ally. So, in essence, we want to give you guidelines from industry experts on how to, for instance, buy a pre-owned super sportscar and what recourse do you, as the buyer, have to protect yourself and what pitfalls to look out for.

Sometimes if a deal sounds too good to be true, then it probably is, so keep shopping around.

For now, however, sit back, relax and enjoy the read!

Let’s be Driven!
