SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW
The Jaguar Land Rover group has taken another step towards future sustainability with the Reality Aluminium Project. The project aims to upcycle aluminium cans, bottletops and vehicles that have reached the end of the road that will, according to the group, reduce CO2 emissions in the car production process by 26%. The recycled aluminium components will be mixed with a significantly lower amount of primary aluminium to create prototype alloy that’s comparable to the existing kind used by the carmaker.
