THE BUILDING BLOCKS OF SPACE
In celebration of the first Space Shuttle flight in 1981, Lego has collaborated with NASA to memorialise the Discovery that accumulated more space-time than any other space shuttle to date. It’s also the shuttle that transported the famous Hubble Telescope into space, and, yes, thanks to Lego’s warping of the spatial idea, you can now build the Discovery, complete with a Hubble add-on, in the comfort of your living room. The set consists of 2,354 pieces and even features functional landing gear, payload bay doors, elevators and rudders.
