DRUM - - Ed's Note -

An alarming number of pedestrians are killed in road accidents every day.

Motorists mustn’t speed in areas without formal points of crossing. Do not take it for granted that pedestrians can see you, and always be on the lookout for small children and animals – especially around schools and places where there are lots of children.

Pedestrians must always be alert when walking. Make eye contact with motorists to ensure they can see you before crossing the road. Small children must never be allowed to walk alone or cross roads on their own. Do it for your own safety and that of other road users. MATOME KUBU, ARCADIA
