PEPPERMINT CRISP CHOCO­LATE TREATS

MAKES ABOUT 24 SQUARES PREPA­RA­TION: 15 MIN COOL­ING: 1 HR

1 x 200g packet Marie bis­cuits 500g ic­ing sugar 60ml (¼c) ca­cao 5ml (1t) vanilla essence 250g mar­garine or but­ter, melted 150g peppermint crisp choco­late, crushed

Line a bak­ing sheet with bak­ing pa­per and grease with non-stick spray.

1 Roughly crush the Marie bis­cuits, trans­fer to a bowl and set aside.

2 Add the ic­ing sugar, ca­cao, vanilla essence and mar­garine or but­ter to a mix­ing bowl and mix well.

3 Add the choco­late mix to the crus­hed bis­cuits and mix well us­ing your hands.

4 Press the mix­ture into the sheet and sprin­kle the choco­late over. Lightly press the choco­late in and leave in the fridge to cool un­til set.

5 Cut or break into pieces and en­joy!
