DRUM - - Ed's Note -

We often take our situations for granted and even make fun of other people’s misery and misfortunes.

I’ve just decided to change that. I’ve decided to cut short my partying and shebeen lifestyle.

Wouldn’t it be a better use of my time if l start teaching my neighbourhood kids computer skills to help eradicate and alleviate poverty?

I’ll be moulding future leaders, preparing them to face this ever-changing world.

Thinking we need lots of money to be a good influence on someone – to motivate and inspire them – is a mistake.

No. It starts from the bottom of the heart. My dream is to help make my community better. What’s yours? MCDIVETT KHUMBULANI TSHEHLA, HALFWAY HOUSE
