If you’re re­quested to trans­fer ­money via a bank or re­tail fa­cil­ity, make di­rect con­tact with your ­con­tact to ver­ify that the re­quest came from them. Should you re­ceive a call ask­ing you to trans­fer money, pay at­ten­tion to changes in the voice or com­mu­ni­ca­tion style – it can help you iden­tify the caller as a scam­mer.
