OF THEE I SING: A LETTER TO MY DAUGHTERS

BY BARACK OBAMA (PUFFIN) R129*

DRUM - - Chill Out -

The book was originally released in 2010 and re-released earlier this year. The whole world watched former president Barack Obama’s two daughters grow up. Now they’re all grown up but they’ll always be his little girls, the ones he imagined when he wrote the book.

The book is a tribute to 13 ground-breaking Americans and the ideals that have shaped the American nation. From artist Georgia O’Keeffe to baseball player Jackie Robinson – Barack sees the traits of these heroes within his own children, and within all of America’s kids.

It’s about the potential within each of us to pursue our dreams and forge our own paths.
