Real men, and gentlemen, are those who teach their children to respect other people as equals. That is the only way we will end this disgusting wave of abuse of women and girls.

We can’t afford to raise another generation of aggressive husbands.

It’s obvious that all couples have occasional differences. The most important thing is to solve our problems peacefully and in a way that will not create a dysfunctional family.

Couples must expose their children to lots of love, care and support towards one another.

Hugging, kissing and making up with your partner after a dispute will go a long way in giving your kids the assurance that you love each other.

Teaching boys to respect girls will prepare them to become responsible men who treat women with respect. JAMES KUBU, EMAIL
