THOSE PEOPLE

DRUM - - CHILL OUT - – NATALIE CAVERNELIS

Everyone at some point has had to deal with a neighbour issue but the goings-on in Lowland Way in London are next level.

The story starts with a death then jumps back eight weeks to the arrival of mechanic Darren and his partner Jodie to the quiet, tree-lined street that prides itself on its upmarket air and respectable neighbourly relations.

Darren inherits the house from his late aunt Jean, starts noisy renovations, blasts metal music at all hours and starts running a second-hand car business from home.

The neighbours complain on their WhatsApp and Facebook groups, encouraging everyone to do something about “those people”. Everyone behaves badly and as tempers fray and lines are crossed, someone dies.
