DRUM - - Ed's Note -

Parents should love their children enough to give them good names. Names have a tendency to affect children’s attitudes. The name given to a child says a lot about the parent’s expectation of the child’s future.

Some kids spend most of their lives subconsciously trying to prove to the world that they are not who or what their name says they are.

The danger of this is that when they fail, they are tempted to think their name says it all!

There are too many challenges awaiting children from birth. Let’s not add more to those by giving them names they don’t deserve. NOMSA MTHIMUNYE, EMAIL
