BEST FOR Delicious, sustainabl­y sourced fare in a buzzy setting. FOOD It would be silly not to start with one of the signature dishes, the bone marrow. A big chunky bone split in two provides a delicious, rich and buttery essence. Beautifull­y cooked and tender pesto duck breast with mash and gremolata is another favourite. Pleasing portions of pork belly, wild boar and other meats come from sustainabl­e and organic sources. The vegetarian options are enticing: goat’s cheese soufflé, pumpkin pancakes and spinach fritatta. The pastas and farm-to-table salads are flavourful options too. On a sweet note, try the ricotta-stuffed chocolate-and-citrus beignets or home-made ice creams, all wonderfull­y decadent. DRINKS The wine list challenges but doesn’t overwhelm. Sample the cocktails too. The menu boasts expertly made popular classics along with some welcome surprises. SERVICE The waiters are friendly, knowledgea­ble and very attentive.
