BEST FOR A dinner to impress. FOOD Start with the bistecca parmigiana and experience the delicious delight of a blend of Mediterran­ean flavours and smooth, flavourful beef steak cutlets that just melt in the mouth. Lemon halloumi, avocado twist, and port livers are other noteworthy starters. For mains, the quattro formaggi is a joy: strips of tender beef are pan-fried with button mushrooms, garlic, peppercorn­s and onions, doused with tawny port and thickened with cream, then wrapped with four cheeses in phyllo pastry and baked until golden brown. Chicken, hake and Toscana rump are other mains on offer. You can’t go wrong with the rich and delicious chocolate terrine to end. DRINKS The wine list is extensive, with local and internatio­nal options, as well as a variety of apéritifs, beers, ciders, cocktails, coolers and shooters.
