BEST FOR A lazy family brunch on the stoep. FOOD An exciting newcomer brings paddock to plate in the country kitchen of farmer owners Alex and baker/chef Tabby. The blackboard menu is built around the organic farm’s produce as well as artisanal growers in the Overberg. You can’t go wrong with trout gravadlax and golden Graze eggs Benedict served with home-cured bacon on sweet potato or marrow rösti. Or try the signature vegetarian zodwa of halloumi, poached farm eggs, wild mushrooms, avo, tomato salsa and tzatziki. Where else can you get tender rabbit ravioli with bok choi and red peppers? Or succulent pork belly flavoured with wild amaranth? Vegetarian­s will love the wild mushroom and roast garlic gnocchi. Leave room for a decadent choc lava cake or granadilla meringue.
