BEST FOR Lazy weekend lunches. FOOD Sansibar’s wood-fired oven is at the centre of their bistro-style menu. Elongated flatbread pizzas with toppings like Parma ham with gorgonzola, caramelise­d onions and wild rocket are crowd-pleasers. Starters consist of bistro classics like Caesar or Caprese salads, barbecue chicken wings or try the gincured salmon salad. Mains are wood-fired too, ranging from the Asara beef burger (180g patty) to glazed pork ribs and yellowfin tuna – to name a few. Sharing options include three platters: cheese, salmon trout variation or vineyard selection. Apple tarte tatin or gin mousse are good dessert choices. DRINKS Sansibar prides itself on its gin bar, offering a variety of gins from all over the world.
