BEST FOR Internatio­nal eats with incredible views. FOOD The focus is on local and fresh, with chef Christophe­r Whitham at the helm of a passionate team. The concise menu is confirmed daily and could include a starter of hot-smoked trout drizzled with coriander juice and aioli, served with crisp-fried nori and beetroot caviar. Fresh salads and sandwiches are served as light meals, along with gourmet fish and chips – the lightly crumbed hake topped with crispy pommes frites and homemade tomato sauce is sensationa­l. A main of mushroom-stuffed chicken breast with garlic mashed potatoes is hearty. Desserts such as baked white-chocolate-and-strawberry ice cream parfait or gooey Tunisian orange-and-almond cake make for suitable endings.
