Jess Shepherd and her husband Luke Grant, delivers every single time. Their veggies and herbs come from their own abundant garden, while every other ingredient comes from a nearby neighbour. It’s because of this seasonality that Jess’s menu changes weekly. Starters could include a twice-baked cheese soufflé with a perfectly dressed garden salad or a tomato tart with heavenly pastry. For mains, look forward to slow-cooked lamb shoulder or beef shin with a potato bake. Desserts could be a perfectly jiggly panna cotta or plum and frangipane tart. Everything comes sharing-style, except for desserts. DRINKS Only De Meye wines; a select choice of local MCCs and local craft beers.
