The Only One


The lat­est edi­tion to the Ital­ian house’s fra­grance col­lec­tion and a new vari­a­tion of its pre­vi­ous ori­en­tal-flo­ral re­lease, The One, is The Only One, a flo­ri­en­tal-gour­mand scent which cap­tures the essence of so­phis­ti­cated and hyp­no­tis­ing fem­i­nin­ity, as well as the in­nate joy of be­ing a mod­ern woman.

Cap­tured by Ital­ian film-maker Mat­teo Garrone and shot in Rome, the film re­veals the Only One woman shar­ing a mo­ment with her loved ones at a din­ner ta­ble, with clas­sic Ital­ian song Quando, Quando, Quando? sung in the back­ground. The scene re­veals her un­de­ni­able charm and ta­lent as her friends en­cour­age her. Emilia, the face, be­gins to sing, with her voice, nat­u­ral beauty and mag­netic per­for­mance cap­tur­ing ev­ery­one’s at­ten­tion. All eyes are on her. She’s the only one.


Vi­o­laine Col­las writes the lat­est ol­fac­tory sig­na­ture, cre­at­ing an in­ter­est­ing play of op­po­sites and an un­ex­pected fu­sion of vi­o­let and cof­fee. Vi­o­let, with sub­tle touches of berg­amot, cre­ates a wel­come sur­prise as the open­ing note, which gives way to se­duc­tive cof­fee and iris at the heart, fi­nally un­der­pinned by vanilla and patchouli at the base.
