PoshyGal, best known for her Tsokodeja music and has recently decided to be submissive to her calling from God. The Bolobedu based artist has been posting on her Facebook wall about how gratified she is to be working for God through proselytization. The lively Poshy says she is still recording her music that she is known for. “God’s callings have to be attended to. I believe that what I do is from God and I respect his blessings to my life”, she says. “It all started when I comprehended that I had many followers in the Tsokodeja Music and the majority of them are not born again”.

Poshy tells Empowered Youth that she received many prophesies from different prophets giving her suggestions that whatever she does in the music industry, at least inspire her followers to abide by the word of God. Giving us a glimpse into of her whole life as a musician, Poshy is very open about how she lives her life as an artist who believes in preaching the word of God regardless of the music genre she does. Poshy says she is still the same PoshyGal that everyone knows, but the only difference is that there are now two different people within her. “I am that Poshy Gal who will stand up and go wherever I am needed to pray for someone in need of a prayer,” she says. Poshy works with prophets who gives her the courage and support her everywhere they go to preach. She says working for God has always been her passion as she started with gospel before making it big in Tsokodeja. Asked about what her fans can expect, Poshy Gal tells Empowered that her fans can expect songs that talk and focus more on the traditions, weddings, God and many more life teachings. “It is always an honour to receive calls from people all over the country telling me how much they love my music,” she says. She urges those with callings to be obedient as nothing can be done to run away from what God wants you to do. Poshy is currently working on a project aimed at developing young talents in Bolobedu. “Bolobedu Idols is one of the projects that I believe God is using me through as I love helping those with talents. My friend and I are currently busy with the production and it is definitely going to be a blast,” she says.

Poshy-Gal encourages young people to abide by the word of God at all times.
