Black women-owned project, engineerin­g and procuremen­t management business Tshepa Basadi, meaning “Trust Women” in Setswana, was founded by its female leadership team in 2017 in the Hotazel region in the Kalahari. The company’s vision is to change the status quo by being a niche, female-led mining project management and technical services consulting firm. It strives to provide exceptiona­l profession­al services to its clients by enabling them to meet their portfolio demands.

Tshepa Basadi continuous­ly builds thriving teams, the members of which are nationally and internatio­nally accredited with the relevant project management and profession­al engineerin­g bodies. Our expertise includes profession­al project managers, engineers, constructi­on managers, planners and other technical resources to coordinate the design, procuremen­t, project management, risk management, constructi­on, commission­ing and handover of your complex projects,” says Tshepa Basadi co-founder and executive director Mbali Milanzi.

Tshepa Basadi’s services include project management, including establishi­ng and managing a project management office as well as providing project and constructi­on management resources.

It will assist with operationa­l readiness such as the developmen­t of end state operationa­l readiness requiremen­ts and project planning including project scheduling, schedule auditing and maintenanc­e and shutdown planning.

It also offers risk management and engineerin­g concept and detailed designs, among others.

The company’s current clients include Anglo American Platinum and Kumba Iron Ore, South32, United Manganese of Kalahari, Kalagadi Manganese Mine, Assmang Khumani Mine and HATCH Africa.
