The defined and dramatic brows

Essentials (South Africa) - - BEAUTY -

‘ This look suits those with high cheekbones. A high arch will lengthen and flatter a short face,’ says brow expert Nilam Holmes-Patel. It’s a style that needs regular grooming, as stray hairs may end up spoiling the effect. To accentuate brows, use make-up and even eyebrow dye. ‘ Ensure that the colour matches your skin and hair,’ advises Nilam. Blondes should go for one to two shades darker than their hair, as should those with grey hair. Brunettes can go one to two shades lighter. Those with black or red hair should match brows to their natural hair. For an intense finish, or if brows are a bit sparse, use a brow gel. ‘Gels will help to deliver the most pigment to the skin,’ says Nilam. ‘Apply with an angled brush and then use concealer to clean up around the edges.’
